Formed July 2023 in Szczecin, Poland, by Maria Zgoda (guitar, bass, vocals), Bartłomiej Czajkowski (drums), and Paweł Zychowicz (guitar, joined a year later).
As Pomroe, we write songs for the moments that are difficult to explain.
We make music rooted in atmosphere, intensity, and honest expression, combining heaviness, noise, poetry, melody, and experimentation into something immersive and deeply personal.
We aim to create music that feels immediate and alluring, abrasive but approachable, fragile but overwhelming.
On August 15, 2026, we released our debut EP, Heavy Drama. It contains five songs that tell a story backwards. What that story is about is left for the listener to decide.
Guitars and drums were tracked live off the floor in late 2025 at 111Studio in Szczecin, with Kamil Becker engineering. Bass, vocals, and synths followed over the next few months. Arek Zieliński handled mixing and mastering.

We don’t play a single genre, but we’re definitely influenced by 90s sounds, from noise rock to grunge to shoegaze. We don’t deny that our down-tuned sound also draws inspiration from sludge, doom, and even… nu-metal (but the better kind). However, we’re more interested in manipulating our sound to match the musical means of expression with the lyrical content, so we’re not tied to anything.
Heavy drama, the band’s debut EP, is out now across Bandcamp, Apple Music, Tidal, and YouTube Music.
